On Tuesday our graduating class decided to dress nicely to make a good impression at the mandatory meeting. Before I walked out of the house Grandma told me that I couldn't wear these earrings, because they weren't professional enough. My love for giant earrings overrode her opinion. 

Today was my first day of class. It feels weird being back.
Some super girliness for you today. 

This one has been sitting around for a while. Last week felt unusually busy, but fun! Went hiking, TWICE, Sketchcrawled in SF with Rudy and visited Jeanie, went to the Obon and DANCED (on the side, we didn't know the routines so we just tried to follow along), and helped out at Grandmas (bothered the AT&T people).

I'm a whole week late with posting so I decided to do a little more than just an outfit sketch. This doodle thing might turn into some kind of visual diary. As much as this blog is for fun I want to challenge myself with incorporating more story and personality.

This was my drunken 4th or July night with friends in SF. Poor Tiffany's shoe broke and was freezing. :<

I got a new shirt yesterday! It's probably the most hipster article of clothing I own, but I don't care! It's the color of carrots! In any case, this week has been oddly busy, which is great cause usually I just sleep during summer, but now I need to get back on track...

I don't know what else to say. What bosh!

Like Jeanie, I will also be posting sketches of me in clothing! (Thank god!) Similarly, I make no promises about adhering to any regular style (stick figures can wear clothes too). Anyhoodle, this is how different these pants look from my skin tone in my head! I don't try to look like I'm not wearing pants, I swear. 

Woo! My first post on this blog. I will be posting silly sketches of one of my outfits of the week (or in this case the previous week). Most likely I will vary how I approach these sketches. We'll see how it goes. I'm excited!

Anyway, I've been enjoying my summer in windy SF and having the most amazing time of my life interning at LucasArts. I'm loving all the amazingly skillful and generous people there. Totally keepin' it cool everyday while my inner fan-girl pees in her pants runs around screaming.
